Browsing by Subject Heading: Step 1

In this tutorial, you'll conduct a subject heading search on SAGE, the Colorado State University online library catalog. (Note that although you might not attend Colorado State University, your school's online library catalog is likely to have similar search options.)

If you would like to complete the steps in this tutorial on your own, please visit the SAGE library catalog at http://sage.colostate.edu and carry out the following steps:

1. Click on LC Subjects tab. The "Library of Congress Subject Search" page will open.
2. Type voter registration in the Search field.
3. Click on the Search button.
4. Click on the Continue button below.
